Bring your enthusiasm and energy to teach Dance within our mirrored and sprung floor dance studios and our purpose-built community theatre.

To be successful, you will be well-organised and able to teach Key Stages 3 to 5 including the delivery of extra-curricular activities to support the preparation of students for performance locally and nationally in this renowned centre of excellence for Dance in the South East. We encourage the use of a range of innovative teaching techniques and through a shared focus on teaching and learning, you will be a team player with the right attributes and focus for the day-to-day pressures that teaching brings.

We are part of Tenterden Schools’ Trust, working in collaboration with local primary schools serving the Wealden town of Tenterden and the surrounding villages. The school is situated on the edge of Tenterden and enjoys a large semi-rural site overlooking open countryside.

Professional development of our staff has emphasis here and for teaching staff there is the opportunity to engage with Leadership Development Training at NPQML or NPQSL levels. You will also enjoy a unique working environment in the heart of the Weald of Kent including discounts and offers with Kent Rewards. All teaching staff are provided with an Apple device and there is also a nursery based on the school site which offers discounts to Homewood Staff.

Detail your successes in your completed application form and supporting letter and get us excited about you!
