Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience required for this position is 2 weeks teaching within the last 2 years and you must hold Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent .


Are you a highly motivated and inspirational Dance Teacher that can deliver inspiring lessons in Drama and Dance. Are you patient and have a passion for creativity in the classroom together with experience in delivering class exercises and workshops.

We are currently seeking to recruit a qualified Dance Teacher to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in an 'Outstanding' Roman Catholic College in the Wigan area.


The Dance Teacher position will commence November 2021

The role:

The desired Dance Teacher will have passion and enthusiasm for the subject who will have the responsibility of delivering Drama and Dance lessons across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. The successful Dance Teacher will have high expectations of behaviour, assessment and attainment and will have the ability to build positive relationships with others.


Requirements

To be considered for the position of Dance Teacher you will: 

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) 
  • Have recent teaching experience in the last 2 years for at least 2 weeks. 
  • A passion for Performing Arts 
  • An outstanding ability to share knowledge 
  • The ability to adapt and have a passion to inspire
