Job overview
We seek to appoint a first-rate and dedicated Design & Technology teacher to cover maternity leave from December 2019 to December 2020. The successful candidate will teach the department's curriculum across all key stages and be someone who will share the school's passion for encouraging all pupils to work towards their maximum potential.
The department currently consists of seven members of teaching staff, whilst the teaching is supported by one technician. The department has three large workshops and one small one along with a dedicated computer room, each room is well-appointed to a high standard, enabling teaching across every Key Stage.
Design and Technology is taught to all pupils in year 7 and 8, and is an extremely popular option in year 9, at GCSE and A Level.
