Job overview

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated teacher who has a passion for teaching Design & Technology and will be able to enthuse and challenge students to produce high quality work.  The successful candidate will demonstrate an infectious passion for teaching their subject, as well as supporting students to become the best version of themselves.  This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking, innovative department, where standards are high, and we strive for excellence.   You will teach with commitment for the subject and be able to instil a love of learning both in and out of the classroom. 

The ability to teach engineering design, in addition to design and technology is advantageous.  We welcome applications from both experienced practitioners and from ECTs`, for whom the school runs a comprehensive induction programme.  

In our most recent Ofsted inspection, in October 2021, we maintained our status as a ‘good’ school.  We offer a friendly, supportive working environment, which values talented, committed staff and offers excellent professional development opportunities.  We are highly committed to managing teacher workload and offer a fortnightly home-based PPA session to all teaching staff.
