We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Engineering, Design and Technology to join our Art, Design and Technology faculty.
We are looking for an experienced facilitator to lead STEM across the whole school, and into the wider community. Carterton has outstanding and unique links with RAF Brize Norton and we have a well-established programme in place to deliver STEM activities to all our students; we recently featured in the RAFs report to Her Majesty the Queen in recognition of our outstanding programme.
You will be a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of DT/Engineering who is able to deliver product design at KS3, and BTEC Engineering Level 2 and Level 3. The post holder will strive to give students exciting and challenging curriculum opportunities. Engineering is a popular and successful subject at KS4 and KS5 and we are looking for someone who can continue to develop this subject.
You will be a skilled professional with CAD/CAM experience who can bring your passion for teaching to our students who have ambition and a genuine desire to succeed. You will inspire and motivate our students to achieve their potential.
You will have the ability to liaise and enthuse our learners is essential, and we are seeking an enthusiastic practitioner to continue the strong and focused work we currently do, and to drive forward the STEM agenda alongside our vision for the school.
You will have a proven track record with improving progress and raising achievement at all levels, and must enjoy working within an exciting and busy team.
