Required from September 2024. This post is suitable for either an Early Career Teacher or a more experienced professional.

We are seeking to appoint a talented, enthusiastic and ambitious teacher of Design & Technology to join our successful department. You will teach both KS3 and KS4 and experience of Engineering would be an advantage. The department has multiple classes for GCSE Design Technology & Engineering as well as Vocational Awards in Construction and Hospitality and Catering.

The FitzWimarc School is a heavily over-subscribed 11 - 18 mixed comprehensive school with an excellent reputation in the local area due to pupil achievements, the school’s ethos and its commitment and involvement with the community.

The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner with good interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils. A strong team player, self-motivated and committed to continuing professional development.
