St Anne's School, Alderney are looking for a dynamic and well-qualified specialist graduate teacher with the vision to deliver high standards of teaching and learning throughout Key Stages 3 & 4. Furthermore, you will make a full contribution to the ethos, identity and life of the School and to the Guernsey Federation of Secondary Schools.

The three island 11-16 High Schools, the Guernsey Grammar School & Sixth Form Centre (11-18), and St Anne’s School in Alderney work in a federated model of partnership working led by the Director of Education.

Employed by the States of Guernsey and based at St Anne's School, Alderney, you will be required to maximise opportunities for collaborative working, teaching and learning across Key Stages and shared professional development across schools. There is an expectation that they will engage in cross-school initiatives which may require working on more than one site to meet the needs of the States of Guernsey.

You will be able to excite and challenge learners to make rapid progress and will be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching and learning. We are looking for someone who is passionate about raising learners’ individual achievements with innovative ideas to build on existing good practice.

Salary will be in accordance with the Main Pay Scale of £28,534 - £40,972 per annum. There is also an Upper Pay Scale of £43,271 - £46,024 per annum for teachers who have successfully gone through the Threshold Assessment.
