We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Design and Technology teacher to join the Technology and the Arts team at Moseley. Outcomes in Design and Technology are above the national average and consistently some of the strongest in the school, you would be joining a well-resourced, supportive faculty. Design and Technology is a popular and over subscribe subject at Key Stage 4 and 5. We are looking for someone who is motivated to make a significant difference to the life chances of our students. As a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Design Technology you will have a clear passion for and knowledge of the subject and an excellent understanding of the curriculum and specifications. Your priorities as a Teacher of Design Technology will be to develop, plan and deliver challenging and engaging lessons for all learners.
Our perfect teaching candidate will:
• Have an enthusiastic approach to the subject and be able to teach to at least Key Stage 4, the ability to teach to Key Stage 5 would be an advantage (any specialism considered including Product Design, Engineering, Food Science, Textiles)
• Be committed to exceptional standards of teaching and learning
• Be able to motivate, challenge and inspire students to achieve their best
• Be able to establish and develop outstanding relationships with students and staff
