We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational and motivated teacher of Technology with a passion for their subject and the ability to enthuse and engage students. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and motivated professional who wants to work in a busy and vibrant Design Technology department. An ability to be able to contribute to all areas (Catering, Textiles, CADCAM, Graphics and Product Design) would be advantageous. You will be required to teach both key stages three and four. The department enjoys modern, well-equipped facilities with good ICT access.

The Thomas Adams School is a co-educational, secondary school with sixth form in Wem, Shropshire. At its most recent inspection, there were 1,260 students aged 11-18 on the school roll, including 200 in the sixth form. The school has accommodation for 60 boarding students. The Boarding House received its Ofsted inspection which was graded as Good. We are part of the 3-18 Education Trust.
The secondary school dates back to 1650, when Sir Thomas Adams founded a free school in the area. A famous former pupil is comedian and actor Greg Davies.
