Values and Vision

The academy’s central values are represented by the acronym CARE: calm, aspiration, respect and engagement. It prides itself on providing an atmosphere of mutual respect and tolerance.

North East Wolverhampton endeavours to instil a strong work ethic in its students, and provide them with the skills to ensure that they are employable, valuable and responsible citizens for 21st-century Britain. Students are encouraged to be polite and well-presented, as well as to strive for success, and show determination and resilience.

The school works with a number of business partners to give students the chance to try new things, such as their Boeing Project, where pupils have the opportunity to build a microlight alongside aeronautical engineers.

Ofsted

“Exceptionally strong leadership from the principal means that current students’ achievement is improving. Teachers give clear advice about how to improve work and students say they value the opportunities to improve their work during lessons. Extracurricular opportunities, such as building an aeroplane, together with the academy’s ‘Respect’ values promote good opportunities for students’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.”
