Job overview


We are looking for a well-qualified, enthusiastic and innovative Design and Technology specialist, either a newly qualified or a more experienced teacher. The ability to teach at all key stages would be a significant advantage. 

The Curriculum Leader was appointed in September 2019 as was a new curriculum Project leader for ICT. The Department is undergoing a period of change and the successful candidate would desirably be someone who can support these posts in bringing about change.

Trinity is a successful and friendly 11-18 mixed comprehensive school of 1600 students; this includes a Sixth Form of just over 250.  We offer excellent induction, support and professional development.  

Trinity School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and successful candidates will need to undertake an enhanced DBS check.

Trinity School is a mixed, non-selective Church of England secondary school with sixth form, situated in Carlisle, Cumbria. There are over 1,700 students at the school between the ages of 11-18.

Trinity School converted to academy status in 2011. It opened in 1968, the result of the amalgamation of Carlisle Grammar School, the Margaret Sewell School for Girls and the Creighton School for Boys.
