Bradfield School is looking to recruit an energetic, enthusiastic and inspiring teacher of Design Technology and KS3 Computer Science. You will join a team of experienced practitioners, able to offer a new colleague advice and support in an environment which enables our staff and students to thrive. Currently, the school offers Design Technology, Engineering, Food Preparation and Nutrition and Computer Science at KS4. Design and Technology at Bradfield School is a popular subject with outstanding resources and teaching spaces. The successful candidate will be able to deliver Design Technology at KS3 and KS4 and Computer Science/ICT at KS3. All resources are shared centrally, and you will be expected to contribute to our continually evolving curriculum.

We are a comprehensive school situated on the edge of the Peak District National Park on the northwest side of Sheffield, we have both a higher-than-average number of high prior attaining students coupled with a growing number of students with additional needs.

You will need to be able to:

§ Demonstrate and deliver excellent teaching

§ Be able to work under pressure within a strong team focused towards challenging goals

§ Have the ability to teach Design Technology at KS3 and KS4

§ Have the ability to teach Computer Science / ICT at KS3

§ Have excellent organisational and communication skills

§ Share in our vision for realising the life chances and dreams of every child
