We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher of Design Technology to develop, plan and deliver high quality and engaging learning experiences to all learners from KS3 to KS5. The successful candidate will need to be skilled in a range of material areas within D&T and embrace a creative multi-disciplined approach to Design & Technology and curriculum requirements at GCSE and A Level. We are looking for an individual who appreciates and promotes the importance of our subject, the development of skills for life, and who shares our commitment to excellence and achieving the very best for all of our students. Applicants will be at an advantage if they have the ability or show willingness to teach food and nutrition.

The role is offered on a full time, temporary contract for one year (or until the return of the post holder).

About Guiseley School
Guiseley School is an 11-18 fully inclusive school situated in a small town in the City of Leeds in West Yorkshire. Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, it is now a suburb of north west Leeds and close to the stunning Dales. The school is part of a Co-operative Trust established in 2014. The school works jointly with a number of local schools to promote the welfare and success of the children of Aireborough. As part of the local community, Guiseley School has a firm reputation for high standards in both behaviour and academic endeavour.
