PART TIME TEACHER OF DESIGN TECHNOLOGY
(Food Specialist preferred but other DT subject will be considered)

Heanor Gate Science College, situated on the Derbyshire / Nottinghamshire border, is looking to appoint a dynamic, innovative and enthusiastic professional who combines excellent organisational and teaching skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students. The successful applicant will join a very committed, forward thinking and successful team. We are a ‘good’ school (Ofsted March 2017) with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
We have a vacancy for a teacher of Design Technology (preferably with a food specialism) suitable for an experienced teacher or NQT. The successful applicant will be a person with high expectations for all students and have the ability and enthusiasm to ensure that all students achieve their potential and they will have the opportunity to:
- teach all age groups from 11 – 18 years;
- access high quality CPD;
- be part of a team committed to outstanding teaching and learning
