We are a fantastic learning community, set in one of Yorkshire’s most scenic areas, whose facilities have recently been enhanced by the completion of a multi-million-pound refurbishment and expansion project. Our Ofsted inspection of March 2017 confirmed us as an ‘Outstanding’ school in all areas, where students “attain highly and make excellent progress”, where behaviour is “exemplary” and where “teachers go the extra mile to make sure students achieve, feel cared for and thrive within a supportive and productive learning environment”. Since Ofsted’s highly positive endorsement, the school has continued to go from strength to strength with progress in 2019 well above average and in the top 10% of all schools nationally.
If you have the ability to engage and enthuse our students with a love of DT, coupled with drive, expertise and a commitment to further raising standards, then we would like to hear from you. We welcome applications from both experienced classroom practitioners and Early Career Teachers.
