Job overview
Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a Design Technology Teacher with experience of working with children with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health Issues) to work in a Secondary Alternative Provision within South Manchester.
You will be considerate, patient and must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability. An ability to build rapport with young people quickly, and then utilise positive relationships to help children to engage in subject material is essential. The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, committed and have a passion for teaching children of Secondary school age in Design Technology up to GCSE level.
Whilst working with Vision for Education you will be invited to attend regular CPD courses that can equip you with the most up to date knowledge in relation to courses on offer, which include: Team teach; Mental Health awareness; Child protection and Safeguarding; Autism awareness; Plus many more.
