The Regis School is a large 11-18 United Learning academy with an expected roll of 1550 students in September 2019 including a Sixth Form of approximately 200.

We are seeking an innovative, passionate and inspirational Design Technology teacher to join us to teach DT, from Years 7 to Year 13.  We are embracing the new style GCSE; incorporating iterative design into KS3 and would welcome applicants with strengths in any area of Design Technology teaching. An ability to teach across a variety of subject specialisms would be a distinct advantage. Nikki, our Head of Faculty, is happy to offer any support and training should you need or want it.  The one thing you will most definitely need is a vision for DT teaching and learning and know how to motivate our young people to feel the same.   

Design Technology subjects are a popular option at GCSE and A-Level, and you will be joining this department of Product Design, Textiles and Food specialists at an exciting time, working alongside the Head of Faculty and Team Leaders in state of the art technology facilities. 

We will give you a curriculum framework, a modern classroom with excellent facilities, comprehensive CPD opportunities, your timetable of classes and above all, the freedom to teach with creativity to motivate our students to work hard and achieve their potential. 

The Regis School has excellent facilities on a large campus that includes a Sports Arena, nursery, primary school, Adult Learning Centre and Youth Centre.  The school itself is large and modern being only 7 years old  and offers a fantastic learning environment that is well respected.
