Fairfield High School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented teacher of Drama and English for September 2023. This post is a full-time position on a permanent contract.
Fairfield High School is looking for an inspiring, creative, energetic teacher with strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for the Performing Arts with the ability to teach Drama to GCSE level and English to KS3 level. You will:
· Be a strong and committed teacher with a proven track record of progress at KS3, KS4
· Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Have strong classroom management skills
· Have the ability to motivate students to achieve excellent results
· Excellent understanding of the Drama and English curriculum at key stages 3 & 4
· Willingness to plan highly effective schemes of work and lessons
If you are passionate about Drama and English and possess the skills to make a difference to the lives of students, we look forward to hearing from you. ECTs are welcome to apply for this position. The successful candidate needs to be familiar with the Drama GCSE course (preferably Edexcel)
