Required from September 2021 as a permanent position.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic teacher of drama to join our growing drama department. 

The candidate must have an absolute commitment and passion for the profession. The position would be highly suitable for a newly qualified, recently qualified teacher or experienced teacher of drama. Experience of delivering GCSE and A level drama would be an advantage.

The school is located on the fringe of the Lake District National Park; a great place to live and work.

Netherhall School is a grant maintained, Local Authority, mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with a sixth form, situated in Maryport, Cumbria. The school achieved its first ever rating of ‘Good’ from Ofsted in 2018, was named Cumbrian Secondary School of the Year later the same year, is host to the Cumbrian Secondary School Teacher of the Year and Cumbrian Secondary School Student of the Year. The school has a rapidly rising intake and the sixth form has over doubled in size in the past few years, with 720 students of age 11-18 currently on roll.
