The Role

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Drama Teacher to cover Maternity leave.  Although advertised as a full-time position, applications offering 0.8 fte will be considered. There will be the possibility of a TLR 2a (£2795 or pro rata for 0.8 FTE) for a suitably experienced applicant.

We are looking for: 

- Experience of teaching Drama at KS3 and KS4, KS5 & Post 16. 

- Awareness of AQA GCSE and​Level 3 BTEC Performing Arts

- An outstanding teacher with excellent subject knowledge and a passion and enthusiasm for Drama practice. 

- A practitioner who is keen to enthuse students of all abilities using a variety of approaches. 

- A teacher who will work to support the successful extra-curricular programme already in place.

Clyst Vale Community College is a mixed, non-denominational academy secondary school and sixth form for students aged 11-18. It is located in Broadclyst, near Exeter, in the county of Devon, and has about 900 pupils.

The academy is operated by the Clyst Vale Academy Trust and is specialist in science, maths and ICT.
