Appointment Type: Maternity Cover to commence in June/July for a 12 month period.
We are looking for a dynamic enthusiastic qualified Teacher of Drama (1.0 FTE) who is a highly skilled practitioner, passionate and innovative who will be able to sustain the School’s reputation for Drama which is a popular option choice. We are looking for someone who is committed to delivering the very best teaching and learning experiences for our students to cover a maternity leave for a 12 month period to commence in June/July 2018.
The successful candidate will plan and deliver Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4 and have experience with Edexcel KS4 Btec technical award in acting – planning, teaching and implementation. They will also be required to collaborate with colleagues from across the school e.g. Music, Dance and English. Appropriate involvement with after-school rehearsals and productions is expected
This post is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic practitioner who wishes to gain experience within our Performance team with excellent facilities in a growing Academy Trust. Whilst this is a maternity cover there is potential for progression after the fixed term contract within The Two Counties Trust.
