We require a well-qualified teacher of Drama.  This is an outstanding opportunity to join a dynamic and very successful department committed to high achievement and a broad extra-curricular offer. The successful candidate must have the ability to teach Drama across the full ability range.  The ability to teach AS and A level would be beneficial but not essential.

The post is ideal for a newly or recent qualified teacher, our first and second year teacher training and support package is outstanding.  The post would also suit an experienced teacher wishing to pursue their career in a successful school with an excellent reputation.

About Valentines High School

Valentines High School is a non-denominational, co-educational secondary school with sixth form in Ilford, Essex. Its motto translates from Latin as "in harmony, achieving excellence". There are approximately 1,291 students on the school roll. The school is proud of its diversity, with 78% of pupils speaking English as an additional language. 

Valentines High School has been a Teaching School since 2011. This status allows the school to offer professional development to other schools in the area, as well as providing high-quality training for its own staff. Founded in 1901, the school opened a new sixth-form centre in 2007.
