Alleyn’s is a thriving, co-educational, HMC independent day school in Dulwich, South East London with a separate IAPS Junior School on the same 30-acre site. The School has around 1000 pupils overall, including a large and dynamic Sixth Form, the majority of whom go on to first-class universities in the UK and overseas.
We are looking to appoint an excellent, committed, dynamic and well-qualified Teacher of Drama for September 2017 for our Senior School. The ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate excellence in the classroom, contribute fully to the co-curricular programme and inspire pupils and staff alike. This post would suit either an experienced or newly qualified teacher or someone looking to join the profession.
Drama is very popular within the School and the ability to teach Dance (at least to KS3) would be an advantage. The successful candidate will be able to teach across the age range up to and including A Level and university entrance.
Alleyn’s has its own competitive salary scale and accommodation may be available.
If you wish to apply, then an application form is available on our website here. This will need to be completed, together with the Equal Opportunities Monitoring Form, and we also require a CV and covering letter.
Alleyn’s School is an Equal Opportunities employer, and welcomes applications for all posts from appropriately qualified persons regardless of age, disability, ethnicity, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, religion or belief.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
The deadline for applications is Wednesday 22 March with interviews scheduled for Tuesday 28 March 2017.
