CAPA College’s very popular and successful Drama: Stage and Screen Pathway is growing which means that we are excited to be able to appoint another passionate, creative Drama subject specialist to join our established team of teachers, artists and practitioners. Please note thatsuccessful applicants will be required to comply with all Enhance Academy Trust policies. The successful applicant will be subject to relevant vetting checks, includinga satisfactory enhanced disclosure and pre-employment and safeguarding checks before an offer of appointment is confirmed. Following appointment, the employee will be subject to rechecking as required from time to time by the BLP. The incredible Drama curriculum at CAPA College focuses on both stage and screen and includes:
- Acting for Camera
- Contemporary Theatre
- Classical Theatre
- Devising
- Voice
- Facilitation
- Acting techniques
- Directing for stage and screen
- Writing for stage and screen • Presenting
- TV & Film making and performance
- Practitioner study
- Drama Theory (including live theatre evaluations, history, context and Edexcel Drama and Theatre Studies specification requirements)
- Physical Theatre
- Musical Theatre
We are excited to receive applications from specialists who feel they have the skills, experience and passion to contribute significantly to at least two or three areas of the Drama curriculum. As such, applications from both qualified teachers (QTS), FE or HE lecturers or Drama practitioners with teaching experience are all welcomed.
