Job overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified DT Teacher to play a key role in a busy and successful DT Department, where results are outstanding, students are high achievers and facilities are excellent. 

You will teach Resistant Materials and Graphic Products to Years 7-13, developing the creativity and technological knowledge of the students by encouraging an enquiring and independent approach to problem-solving through designing and making.  

You will be teaching girls who enjoy pushing their skills to a higher level and who have consistently won awards in prestigious events both local and national, such as Young Inventors of the Year, the Audi Young Designer of the Year, the Young Designer of the Year and the Young Engineer of Britain competitions.

You will be a passionate DT Teacher who is highly motivated and well qualified, preferably with a H&S DT certification in order to use all the workshop equipment, as well as being able to offer competent ICT skills. Training can be organised for the above H&S certificate if required.
