St. Augustine’s C.E. High School is a medium sized mixed comprehensive school situated on the doorstep of central London, in Kilburn. Our Outstanding DT  Department has fantastic facilities, offering Graphics, Resistant Materials, Art and Food Technology from KS3 - KS5. 

We are seeking a passionate and diligent Teacher of Design Technology with the ability to teach across all specialisms form KS3 -KS4 (KS5 desirable).

The right candidate will:

  • HOLD UK QTS
  • Be passionate about DT Education
  • Communicate effectively with all staff, students and parents 
  • Raise aspirations, expectations and achievement of all students regardless of ability
  • Be a team player and go the extra mile to uphold school values
  • Be able to teach DT to all age groups, fulfilling all responsibilities of a teacher of DT.
  • Ensure pupils’ progression is continuously monitored and achievements maximised

St. Augustine’s Federated schools consists of primary and secondary voluntary aided Church of England schools, located in a diverse multi ethnic, inner city community situated in Maida Vale / Kilburn close to the heart of London.

Our comprehensive secondary school’s results have improved significantly over the last few years and Key Stage 3 results are now above the national average. The number of students achieving 5+ A*-C has increased significantly and the school achieved record results in 2006 and 2007. Contextual and non-contextual value added have shown year on year improvement for the last 3 years.
