Brighton College is looking for an outstanding EAL Teacher to join an already strong department and to offer new ideas to further enhance the level of intervention for our pupils. The successful candidate will work closely with departments to continue to raise standards across the College. Our vision is to propel Brighton pupils to rates of progress that are equal to those of the finest schools in the world. The EAL Department is swiftly becoming a beacon of outstanding progress by creating and developing a culture of first-class support in everything it does.
Applications are invited from first rate EAL practitioners who hold a relevant degree, at least two years of relevant experience and possesses excellent organisational and communication skills. We are looking for someone who has an enthusiasm for promoting learning and assisting pupils in overcoming their barriers to learning. All members of the Common Room are expected to provide extra-curricular activities and will also be required to contribute to the wider community life of Brighton College.
