The appointed candidate will be part of the Business, Accounting & Economics (BAE) faculty. Business Studies and Economics are very popular subjects within the school: 66% of the student cohort is part of the Business, Accounting and Economics faculty, and 50% of our students progress onto a business/economics/ finance related degree at University. The appointed candidate will be responsible for teaching both Economics and Business Studies at iGCSE and A-level.
The appointed candidate will be part of a very supportive, committed and talented team of teachers who are passionate about their subject and who provide personalised learning experiences for our students. The BAE faculty is a cornerstone of CATS College London’s curriculum and prides itself on good student progress, attainment and extracurricular offering such as Young Enterprise, ICAEW BASE competition, RES Economics Essay competition, Tutor2U conferences, Education in Action conferences, an Economics residential trip to Frankfurt etc. The faculty has organised over 10 internal workshops this academic year alone, led by various universities (Newcastle, Hult, Regents, Brunel, Royal Holloway, Queen Mary, SOAS, to name a few) that promoted employability skills, commercial awareness and preparation for university study.
Following on from exceptional past success, CATS College London will further specialise in Business/Economics education this September with the launch of Bloomberg technology and its embedment within the curriculum which will further enhance the academic experience of our students and preparing them for university.

The school is a co-educational independent day and boarding school catering mainly for international students aged 15+. The school was founded in 2011 under the name of “CATS College London”, joining CATS Cambridge and CATS Canterbury (founded in 1962) and joined by CATS Academy Boston in the US (in 2012). In October 2022 “CATS College London” rebranded to Guildhouse to better represent it's unique geography and educational offering as part of the CGS Global Schools Group.
