Exciting opportunity for an inspirational Teacher of Economics and Business Studies to join out thriving department at Prior Park School, Gibraltar to join the team from September 2024.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a successful, dynamic and progressive Humanities Faculty in beautiful and inspirational surroundings. The post is a full-time position and would suit a teacher with experience at Secondary level or a suitably qualified NQT.

The successful candidate will assist in the delivery of the GCSE Business, iBTEC Business (Level 3) and A Level Economics, driving forward what has become a very popular and successful faculty. The ability to teach their specialism up to A Level is essential. Experience of delivering BTEC Business is desirable. 

A willingness to contribute to the wider life of this successful day school is essential. Full induction and training will be given to the successful candidate. In return we offer excellent working conditions with an attractive rewards package.

Set in a stunning location, high up on the Rock and overlooking the Bay of Gibraltar, Prior Park School is a vibrant, caring community with an ambition as boundless as its view, established in 2016 to serve the families of Gibraltar and Southern Spain. Prior Park School is Gibraltar’s first and only independent, coeducational, Catholic/Christian day school, educating 260 young people aged 11-18.

Prior Park School, Gibraltar, is a member of the Prior Park Schools family which also includes Prior Park College, Bath and The Paragon School, Bath.

The school is a thriving community operating on the former Sacred Heart campus in the Old Town, high above the noise of the city. We accept students from ages 11 to 18 and teach the UK curriculum including GCSE and A Level examinations.

Prior Park is a modern Christian Catholic school with a maximum capacity of 260 pupils. We have a staff to student ratio of 1:8 with only 40 children in a year group.
