Loreto Grammar School is an 11-18 Roman Catholic Grammar School for
Girls with Academy status. It is a thriving, successful and oversubscribed school, judged as “Outstanding” by Ofsted and by the Diocese of Shrewsbury.
The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Economics and
Business Studies up to and including A level to join our successful Social
Sciences department on a maternity leave cover basis. Applications are
welcome from candidates who offer both or either subject. The appointed candidate will commit to the ethos and wider life of school.

About Loreto Grammar School
Loreto Grammar School is a selective Roman Catholic girls' secondary with sixth form, situated in Altrincham, Cheshire. It is supported by a single-academy trust, the Loreto Grammar School Trust, and is part of a network of 120 Loreto schools across the world, with strong links to international schools in countries such as India, Australia and Germany. It provides a total of 1,040 places for students aged 11-18.
The school was founded in 1909 by the Sisters of Loreto, and assumed academy status in August 2012.
