Economics teacher (full time or part time)

The Governors of this highly successful and over-subscribed mixed 11-18 Specialist Science College are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, exceptional teacher to the above role.

St Gregory’s has been identified by OFSTED in March 2019 as an outstanding school in all areas of its practice; by the DfE as a National Lead Behaviour School and by the SSAT as a High Attaining School. In 2023, 33% of all A level grades were A*-A, 72% were A*-B and 95% were A*-C. At GCSE, pupils attained 33% Grade 7+, 67% Grade 5+ and 82% Grade 4+.

We are seeking an inspiring, inventive and enthusiastic Economics teacher to join our forward thinking and successful Economics department. The successful candidate will be committed to teaching at the highest standard and raising the aspirations and achievements of our students at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.

Effective safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils is our upmost priority. Shortlisted candidates will be subject to online searches in line with the latest Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance. References will be sought and the successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check. A respect for the Catholic ethos of the school is essential.
