Teacher of Economics

We are seeking a dynamic, well-qualified individual to teach Economics at A Level in our thriving boarding school. The post would suit either a graduate, an experienced teacher seeking an exciting challenge or someone who has worked in a related field and wishes to move into teaching. The opportunity to undertake School Direct training may be available. The ability to teach Business Studies or Politics or run Enterprise activities would be an advantage but is not essential.

Benenden School is an independent boarding school for girls, founded in 1923 and situated in 240 acres of beautiful parkland in rural Kent. At present, there are 548 girls in the School. A considerable amount of new building has been completed in recent years, including a Science Centre, an all-weather pitch, Sports Pavilion and staff housing.

Meals are provided to staff whilst on duty. The School’s leisure facilities, including a fitness gym and swimming pool are available for staff to use.
