We seek to appoint from September 2018 a well-qualified, and enthusiastic graduate to teach Economics on a part-time (approximately 0.68) basis on a one-year contract in the first instance. Alternatively, we would consider applications from graduates who might like to join our long-standing and highly successful Initial Teacher Training Scheme on a full-time arrangement.
The successful candidate will join a thriving department which attracts a large number of students who achieve outstanding examination outcomes. This success is based on high expectations and hard work from both staff and pupils. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher of Economics who has the ability to communicate their exceptional subject knowledge to our students. The ideal candidate will also enjoy producing his/her own teaching resources. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has good interpersonal skills and a great sense of humour.
