Job overview

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding practitioner who has the ability to deliver inspirational teaching and learning in Engineering. Candidates will have experience in teaching Engineering up to Level 3 and will have the knowledge and experience to develop the curriculum in Key Stages 4 and 5. They will also have a strong desire to share a love of Engineering and motivate and encourage students to reach their full potential. The successful candidate will have experience of consistently good teaching and learning delivery methods.


For exceptional candidates, there will be the opportunity to become a Lead Teacher of Engineering. In this role, there would be the opportunity to work with, and develop, other teachers of Engineering within the Delta Academies Trust.

Who Are We?

Ash Hill Academy is a secondary academy located in the village of Hatfield, South Yorkshire. We cater for mainstream students aged 11 to 16 and it has been sponsored by Delta Academies Trust since September 2011. The academy outlook is built upon effective partnerships between the academy, students, family and the community, from the point of admission, as well as work based learning. We have all the raw materials present to ensure that the next chapter in the academy’s journey is a successful one. Our staff embodies a wide range of experience and a wealth of enthusiasm.
