An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and talented English and Drama teacher to join our dedicated team from September 2021.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, committed teacher who is capable of teaching English and Drama to at least KS4. They will work with the other members of the department to maintain a focus on progress; teaching and learning; and raising achievement. The role would be suitable for an experienced secondary teacher seeking a new challenge or possibly a recently qualified teacher looking to gain experience in a supportive school.
The English department is well established at Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys. Staff have a wealth of experience and interests, which bring many dimensions to provision of excellent lessons as well as skills and support for a new colleague! We have enjoyed excellent results at both GCSE and A level and a concept focused Key Stage 3 proves a popular launch pad for strong progress. Enabling students into Higher Education with confidence is a strength. A healthy approach to broader, innovative ways to enhance learning is encouraged, and trips add to this.
The main site for TWGSB is in Tunbridge Wells. However, there you may be required to work at other sites connected to TWGSB.
