Teacher of English and Drama

Full time, permanent position

Salary: Outer London Main/Upper Pay Range

We are looking for a suitably qualified and enthusiastic full time Teacher of English and Drama in our over-subscribed school with a thriving Sixth Form. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is committed to inspiring and motivating students through their innovative and engaging teaching with excellent support from a successful, hardworking and friendly department. This role could be suitable for an NQT.

The successful candidate will meet the following essential criteria:

• QTS;

• a broad base of subject knowledge

• the ability to teach across Key Stages

• the ability to employ a range of teaching and learning

strategies;

• the ability to maintain good classroom behaviour;

• effective interpersonal skills and the desire to work

effectively as part of a team;

• the ability to demonstrate suitability to work with children

and young people.
