Our English and Performing Arts Departments require a talented and dedicated teacher to join them in moving the subjects towards even greater heights. Drama is studied at KS3 for 1 lesson per week in a specialist room and we currently offer BTEC Performing Arts. English is taught creatively and the successful candidate will teach approximately 0.5 English and 0.5 Drama and can expect to teach across both key stages.

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher to join us. We are a forward thinking school and team that aims to challenge and engage all students from Year 7 through to Year 11 and this is an exceptional opportunity to be part of the robust journey, continuing to actively raise the standards that we have worked hard to achieve. Last year we achieved a 100% pass rate in Drama with 29% achieving Distinction/Distinction*. We continue to strive for improvement within English and last year achieved our best results ever with 78% A* - C. 85% of students making expected progress and 37% made more than expected progress.

Both English and Drama benefit from being suited in new buildings with new furniture, text books, technology and climate control in all classrooms. The new Drama Studio was officially opened last year.
