Job overview

Chelsea Independent College

We are seeking a Teacher of English and ESL for a vibrant and growing department to start in January. The successful individual will be expected to teach small groups of between 5 and 10 students currently studying OCR GCSE English Language and Literature. Some opportunity may exist to help with A-level teaching. The ability to teach English as a Second Language is necessary. Chelsea Independent College is a private school in South West London, and around 60% of our students are drawn from some 42 different countries. Academic English is at the heart of our activities, although very high scores are also received with regularity in A-level and GCSE. We would ask for at least 3 years PQE and ESL training and experience would be a distinct advantage. The post would be full time.
