Samuel Lister Academy is an improving school. In March 2017 as part of the Priority Schools Building Programme we moved into a brand new state-of-the-art building with excellent facilities. Samuel Lister Academy is part of Bradford College Education Trust. The Trust provides staff with excellent opportunities for professional development, training and support.
We are looking to appoint an English Teacher who will be part of a well-established team, raising standards of attainment and achievement in English. Our ideal candidate would share the ethos of high aspirations and instil a love of the English language in all students they teach.

The Samuel Lister Academy is an 11-18 Academy situated in the in semi-rural surroundings in Bingley, close to the North West boundary of the City of Bradford. The Academy has recently moved into a brand new building as part of the Priority Schools Building Programme, the new facilities provide students with a state of the art learning environment.
