We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and committed teacher with the drive and ability to deliver lessons that enable all students to reach their full potential. The ability to teach up to GCSE is a requirement and A Level desirable.
We are looking to appoint a person who has strong subject knowledge and who is a reflective practitioner.
The successful applicant will join a team of strong practitioners who work together to inspire students to succeed. Outside of the department you will have the opportunity to work with other Heads of English through the Oaks Collegiate, a local partnership of schools.

Hillcrest School and Sixth Form Centre is a non-selective 11 – 18 girls’ school with approximately 650 students. Girls are admitted in Years 7-11 (ages 11-16) and both boys and girls are admitted to our mixed Sixth Form Centre. The school is a member of The Oaks Collegiate, a close network of 10 Secondary and 7 Primary Schools in South-West Birmingham. Hillcrest has well established systems and structures in place to support staff at all stages of their career journey.
