Job overview

With the formation of the South Lincolnshire Academies Trust (encompassing Bourne Academy and Spalding Academy), we are seeking to appoint an inspirational, dynamic, highly motivated, innovative, enthusiastic, well-qualified and committed Teacher of English to work at the Bourne Academy site.  The successful candidate will teach across the age range, including examination groups.

Both of the Trust schools are within an easy commute of Stamford on the A1 and Peterborough, where there is a high-speed rail link to and from London (Kings Cross 45 minutes).

This is an exciting opportunity for an NQT or an experienced teacher to join a thriving and highly motivated department (all our NQTs are well supported by an excellent induction programme) and, for the right candidate, we are offering a negotiable TLR.

The successful candidate will have:

• Qualified teacher status;

• The ability to teach Engish up to GCSE;

• The opportunity to teach Engish A-Level;

• The ability to motivate students and achieve excellent results;

• Excellent organisational and ICT skills;

• The capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team;

• A passion for the subject and the ability to share this with young people.

If you would you like to forward your career, this superb opportunity may be for you.

The Trust offers exceptionally pleasant working environments.  Both Bourne and Spalding sites are a calm and safe place, where staff and students work hard, achieve a great deal and enjoy excellent working relationships.

The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all its staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  All post holders are subject to a satisfactory disclosure prior to taking up an offer of employment.

For an application form and further information please visit our website www.bourneacademy.org.  Closing date for applications is 9am Monday 16th October 2017.  Interviews will follow shortly thereafter.
