Job overview
The Governors wish to appoint an exceptional Teacher of English to join a dynamic and committed department to teach English across key stages 3, 4 & 5. We are looking for a teacher who can make a significant contribution to this strong and successful department. Last year, 97% of pupils achieved A*–C grades at GCSE, 37% achieved A*–A grades and our value added is amongst the highest in the country. English Literature is also a popular choice at A Level and many pupils go on to study English-related courses at university.
The successful applicant will be creative, well organised and will actively assist in the further development of English within the College, contributing to the vibrant programme of extra-curricular support provided to all pupils.
The post is suitable for NQTs and fully qualified teachers, with outstanding bespoke training programmes available to all.

Wembley High Technology College is a co-educational secondary academy based in North Wembley (Brent), for students aged 11 - 18. It is a part of the Wembley Multi Academy Trust and has an established reputation for a strong focus on academic excellence.
