Advert for the vacancy of Teacher of English Language
Enthusiastic English teachers are required to join a growing department which prides itself on innovative and excellent teaching.
Experience of GCSE and/or IGCSE English Language is essential. Wider knowledge of GCSE or IGCSE English Literature would also be desirable.
Experience of GCE Literature would also be desirable but is not essential.
In addition, working knowledge of the IELTS qualification (or similar EAL support) would be an advantage, as would prior delivery and understanding of the WJEC EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) or similar.
The department also has a very successful debate and public speaking extra-curricular programme willingness to contribute to this would also be an advantage.
