Our English faculty is a vibrant, enthusiastic and dedicated team. Of paramount importance is the development of positive and professional relationships with students in order to develop creative writers, confident speakers and competent readers.  We are keen to extend the provision by recruiting teachers who are also committed to leading additional experiences to students to broaden their understanding and engagement with the subject.

Sir William Stanier School is part of The Learning Partnership.

The Learning Partnership is a new multi-academy trust that was formed on 1st September 2023 as a merger between The Learning Alliance and The Learning for Life Partnership. The trust consists of fourteen schools, eight of which are primary schools and six are secondary schools, all based across east Cheshire and north Staffordshire.

We are an inclusive school and believe all of our students can achieve success in life. We see it as our responsibility, working in partnership with our families, primary schools, and post 16 partners, to provide the opportunities and environment that will nurture a love of learning.
