Teacher of English

I am working on behalf of a renowned international school group that are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and inspirational English teachers on a full-time fixed-term basis' from August 2022. These roles are not suitable for newly qualified teachers. 

PLEASE NOTE: The locations for these positions are in Suzhou and Zhuhai.

"We are looking for a committed and collaborative educator who is eager to teach a broad range of English-language learners; from EAL Support to Senior School Literature. The ideal candidate will be proactive in providing timely, effective, meaningful, and positive feedback to instruct next steps in student learning, making regular use of retrieval and spaced practice in lessons; and will engage student prior knowledge, encouraging them to transfer their learning to new and/or unfamiliar situations."

The Successful Candidates:

- Graduate qualified teacher 

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area, Master's degree an advantage

- Minimum 3 years experience in the area for which you are applying

- Successful experience in working with students in the age group you are teaching

- Demonstrated experience in inspiring students in a stimulating learning environment

- Demonstrated experience of using ICT to promote learning

- Previous experience in an international school and familiarity with British education system preferred

- Experience in teaching EAL students preferred

- Ability to analyse student data to support student achievement

- Demonstrated experience in raising achievement and setting challenging targets

- Strong commitment to supporting all aspects of our programme, especially through participating actively in the extra-curricular
