A vacancy has arisen for a full-time permanent Teacher of English at Queensferry High School.
Queensferry Community High School is a non-denominational secondary school built in 1969, which serves the area of north west Edinburgh. The catchment area comprises students from Dalmeny, Echline, Kirkliston and Queensferry primary schools.
The school is firmly committed to raising attainment and promoting achievement. This is a whole school priority in improvement planning and reflects local, CEC and national priorities.
The school will benefit from a new building scheduled for completion in Spring/Summer 2020. The school roll is over 900 and rising. The new build will have capacity for 1200 students and has commanding views of the Forth estuary (including the three bridges).
