Temporary Teacher of English
Required to start 1st January 2019 or sooner for a minimum of 12 months
Do you want to work at a school making strides forward looking to appoint teachers who can inspire, motivate and lead improvement? A school that has recently moved from requires improvement to GOOD!
Governors wish to appoint a teacher into our strong and expanding English team. A part time role would be considered.
‘Support for newly and recently qualified teachers is good. These teachers said that they valued highly the support they received and the developmental activities in which they are involved. Recently qualified teachers who were initially trained in the school have returned to a post here because, they said, they believe strongly in the school’s ethos and that they feel able to ‘make a real difference’ to pupils’ Ofsted March ‘18
We are looking for a teacher with:
• a real desire to make a difference to students outcomes
• the desire to learn and be a high functioning practitioner
• the drive to work in a high functioning team
This is a very exciting opportunity where you can continue to make a difference within a well established team. Continuing to raise the attainment and progress in English is a part of our whole school improvement. ‘English is a strength of the school’, as recognised in our recent Ofsted inspection.
The school is committed to safeguarding & promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
