South Dartmoor Community College is seeking to appoint enthusiastic, professional, hardworking and imaginative Teachers of English.  The successful candidates will be able to teach effectively across Key Stages 3 and 4 and will demand high standards in the classroom.

We are looking to appoint, from September 2019 preferably or January 2020 for the right candidate, at least three innovative and talented English teachers to deliver outstanding outcomes. We are looking for teachers who are committed to becoming exceptional practitioners and want to be part of our school team as we embark on an exciting school improvement journey. South Dartmoor Community College is set on an attractive campus within the boundary of the stunning Dartmoor National Park and is within easy commuter distance of Plymouth, Exeter and the South Devon coast. We are a true comprehensive with a varied catchment and are committed to quality education for all whatever the starting point. We have an excellent Learning Support provision, including the Learning Enrichment Centre and our bespoke support centre for students with Autism, known as the CAIRB.

As a member of the South Dartmoor Multi Academy Trust, the College works with Ashburton, Buckfastleigh, Ilsington, Moretonhampstead and Widecombe Primary Schools as well as the Atrium Studio School.

The College is on a rapid improvement journey and has a strong staff team in place to ensure every child is enabled to fulfil their potential.
