Do you want to join a highly committed, collaborative team in a growing Multi - Academy Trust?

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic English and Drama teacher to join us from January 2018. The English faculty is a great area of strength for the school and the successful candidate will be joining a highly committed and experienced team. Our GCSE results in 2017 were excellent with 95%of students achieving 9 – 4 English Language and 88% in English Literature.

We have a vibrant Performing Arts faculty which includes an experienced Drama department. Large numbers take GCSE Drama and Drama A Level is offered in our growing Sixth Form.

The Green School for Girls is part of The Green School Trust, a Church of England Multi Academy Trust. This is an exciting time to join the Trust which has just opened its second school The Green School for Boys in September 2017.

As a church school, we welcome applicants from all faiths and none but we do ask that applicants support the Christian ethos of the school. A full programme of support for all new staff is provided.

This position could be offered as part time English (0.7) and part time Drama (0.3) . Staff will have the opportunity to work across both schools and additional hours could be available across the Trust.

A full programme of support for all new staff is provided. CPD and the development of leadership skills is an important part of the school culture and candidates who wish to progress their careers are encouraged to apply.
