Job overview


We are seeking to appoint a teacher of English from Easter or September 2022.

The successful candidate will be able to teach English across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.  We have a successful 6th form, however, experience in this Key Stage is not essential and if necessary we will provide opportunities for the successful candidate to develop and grow their subject experience and knowledge in Key Stage 5 over time. 

The successful candidate will join our highly motivated English Department.  You will have your own classroom.  We are a Catholic College with teaching and learning at its heart.  Bishop Milner Catholic College is part of the St John Bosco Catholic Multi-Academy Company which consists of five primary schools and two secondary schools.

We work collaboratively sharing and celebrating quality first teaching and learning strategies.

Our campus has in recent years had significant investment and we now look forward to providing a wider range of opportunities for our students.  

We welcome applications from ECTs/ECT+1 and experienced teachers.
